Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking a Child Interventionist/Registered Behavior Technician for a part-time, after-school role in Chula Vista, CA. You will support children with autism under BCBA direction, implementing ABA-based plans and helping with communication, social skills and self-care.

Earn $21.00–$28.00 per hour with 9–15 hours weekly. Opportunities for professional growth toward RBT or BCBA with subsidies and training support are provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate with children and families.
• Willingness to learn and adapt ABA-based plans.
• Reliability and compassionate demeanor.
• Transportation with own vehicle may be required.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Observes and records client progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors effectively.
• Applies behavioral principles in all interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents and team.
• Participates in team meetings and training sessions.
• Completes data collection and documentation accurately.
