Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in applying ABA-based strategies. The role is part-time, 12–20 hours per week, with after-school sessions from 3pm to 7pm, 3 to 5 days weekly.

Entry-level and experienced candidates are welcome; a High school diploma and RBT certification (if already obtained) are preferred. A tablet or laptop is required to complete sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Tablet or Laptop computer to use during sessions.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in our online database.
• Participates in continuous training programs to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.
