Job summary

LiftOne in Knoxville, TN seeks a Lean Operations Leader to supervise technicians and lead shop and field service activities. You’ll run daily huddles, Gemba walks, and prioritize work orders while tracking safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

Required: Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2–4 years leadership; excellent communication and problem solving. Lean experience preferred. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Salesforce, SAP or ServiceMax a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred plus 2–4 years of related experience/training.
• Proven leadership with a record of delivering results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong listening and presentation skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems and work through concrete variables.
• Background in material handling or a service-focused industry preferred.
• Experience with lean/continuous improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily performance huddles and Gemba walks.
• Dispatching and balancing work across resources; approve timesheets and work orders.
• Coach technicians; ensure safety, quality, and cost metrics.
• Visit customer sites to support technicians and verify quality.
• Maintain records of labor and parts in the service platform.
• Lead meetings and escalate roadblocks to service manager or central support.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program to meet standards.
• Conduct performance reviews and support staffing and career development.
• Uphold safety policies and drive a safety culture.
