Job summary

The YMCA of the North Shore in Salem, MA is seeking an After-School Site Coordinator to lead a team and provide a safe, inclusive environment for elementary students. This year‑round role extends into the summer with leadership in the Y Day Camp program.

You will guide daily operations, coach staff, and foster strong relationships with families and schools, driving mentorship and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• Must meet Massachusetts EEC qualifications for Site Coordinator.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading youth programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team to deliver high‑quality activities.
• Ensure program safety and licensing compliance.
• Build connections with students and families.
• Manage schedules, materials, and administrative tasks.
• Mentor and inspire children through play and learning.
