Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking two part-time youth mentors at our Andover, NH site. You will lead recreational activities, help with arts and crafts, and supervise members while promoting positive youth development.

Role runs August through school-year end with possible summer work. Applicants should be 18+, with some youth experience and the ability to obtain required background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 600 hours in a school-age program.
• At least 3 college credits in child development or related field.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging environment for youth.
• Lead age-appropriate daily activities and programs.
• Orient new members to scheduling and expectations.
• Provide guidance and feedback to members.
• Document attendance and ensure safety and cleanliness.
