Job summary

Penn Brook Elementary YMCA Afterschool Program in Georgetown, MA is seeking a Welcome Desk Staffer to serve as the central hub of communication for families and staff. You will confirm absences, check children in, and verify guardian identities at pick-up while coordinating with Site Coordinators on who goes home and keeping attendance current.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass EEC fingerprint background screening.
• Must be highly organized and have excellent communication skills.
• Schedule is Monday - Friday 2:30pm to 6pm.

Responsibilities

• Confirm absences for the program.
• Check children into the program.
• Verify identities of parents/guardians during pick-up.
• Share information with Site Coordinators about which children are going home.
• Provide feedback on each child’s day to parents or guardians.
• Maintain up-to-date attendance records.
