Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Teacher to lead and mentor fellow teachers, implement the organization’s curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. You will partner with parents to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, while collaborating with center staff to achieve shared goals.

The role requires strong customer service, an ECE background, and the ability to work with diverse communities across a nationwide

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• English proficiency to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
