Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Orlando is seeking a dedicated Teacher to inspire confidence and learning in young children. You will mentor teammates, implement the curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing classroom that supports families and community connections.

You will collaborate with center leadership to drive enrollment, accreditation, and engagement while ensuring a positive learning environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multi-task effectively.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; partner with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
