Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to lead and mentor in the classroom, delivering our curriculum and creating a safe, engaging environment for children. You’ll partner with parents to support each child’s development and strengthen center outcomes around enrollment and accreditation.

We value experience in early childhood education, CDA/NAEYC credentials when possible, and a commitment to safety and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational abilities.
• Able to multitask and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• English literacy to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
