Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor team members while delivering the curriculum with fidelity. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play, and you will partner with parents to support each child’s growth.

You will collaborate with center staff to support enrollment and accreditation, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning community.

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy required.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
