Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a Before and After School Leader to support the program director in planning and implementing child care services. You will help build positive relations with families and the school community while assisting in delivering high-quality programming.

The role requires supervision of students, adherence to licensing requirements, and the ability to enforce discipline and safety policies. Training and professional development are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• Experience supervising children or a licensed program (minimum 3 months/455 hours) or possess a qualifying credential.
• Annual professional development: at least 15 clock hours.
• Knowledge of childcare practices and safety.
• Ability to enforce discipline procedures effectively.
• Some leadership and management skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

• Assist the program director to plan and implement the child care program.
• Develop and promote good community relations among school and community clients.
• Assist in preparing and implementing quality programming.
• Supervise and engage with students during program operation.
• Coordinate safety procedures and maintain a safe environment for all participants.
