The YMCA of the Triangle is seeking a Site Coordinator in Garner, NC to lead after-school programming under the Youth Director. You will supervise staff, plan activities, and ensure safety and program alignment with YMCA goals.

Requirements include 18+, high school diploma or GED (2 years youth experience preferred), strong communication, and staff supervision skills. Certifications in BLS/First Aid and Emergency Oxygen are required on hire.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required with 2 years of youth experience preferred.
• Experience in program development and supervising staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community.
• YMCA BLS/First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications required upon hire.
• Multi-lingual desired but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, plan, and lead after school programming while supervising staff.
• Maintain communication with program director, staff, campers, and parents.
• Onboard, train, and evaluate program staff.
• Prepare for staff meetings and training sessions with the Youth Director.
• Open and close the program daily and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Develop daily schedules and assign staff to activities and huddles.
• Communicate with parents via monthly newsletters and weekly updates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the building and equipment areas.
