Job summary

YMCA of the Triangle is seeking a Site Coordinator in Raleigh, NC to coordinate and lead after-school programming under the Youth Director. You will supervise program staff, develop schedules, and ensure safety and compliance with policies while fostering positive relationships with youth, families, and the community.

Open communication, staff onboarding, training, and collaboration with partners are essential as you support daily operations and help drive program success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2 years of experience working with youth.
• Experience in program development and supervision of staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups and communities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains open communication with the program director, staff, campers and parents to develop strong relationships.
• Provides leadership and guidance to staff; assists in onboarding, training and evaluating staff.
• Communicates with parents and caregivers via monthly newsletters and weekly updates.
• Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations.
