• Ability to collaborate with school district staff, officials, parents, and community leaders.
• Familiarity with quality criteria for expanded learning programming is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop programs for diverse learning styles and interests.
• Experience working in ethnically and culturally diverse communities is desirable.
• Effective verbal and written communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and volunteers at ASAS-LA sites and provide professional development opportunities.
• Assist with discipline and behavior management and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Embed ASAS-LA Mission and Vision in daily practices across sites.
• Provide a safe, engaging environment and educational experiences for students.
• Offer guidance and role modeling to participants and foster inclusion.
• Coordinate day-to-day programming and report emergencies and conflicts to supervisor.
• Liaise with school sites to address issues and strengthen partnerships.
• Ensure implementation of ASAS-LA initiatives through observations and trainings.
• Support school-day efforts related to expanded learning programming.
• Assist with surveys for program evaluations including parents, staff, and students.
• Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders through meetings and assessments.
