Job summary

New York Junior Tennis & Learning is seeking a Program Director to provide leadership for a DYCD-funded after-school program across multiple sites. The role includes contract compliance, program quality, staff supervision, and school partnerships, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment aligned with agency standards.

You will oversee operations, engage families, manage data and budgets, and drive continuous program improvement while coordinating with school and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, Public Administration, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience supervising staff and managing programs.
• Knowledge of DYCD COMPASS/SONYC and NYC after-school landscape is a plus.
• Bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program operations in alignment with DYCD guidelines and agency policies.
• Ensure enrollment targets, hours of operation, activity requirements, and staffing ratios.
• Serve as primary liaison with DYCD managers, school staff, and agency leadership.
• Prepare for and participate in site visits, monitoring, and audits, and implement corrective actions.
