Job summary

Catlin Gabel School is seeking an Extended Learning Assistant Director who enjoys working with children and creating an after-school environment where students feel known and included. You will help lead Preschool-Grade 5 Extended Day and Day Camps, support enrichment classes and tutoring, and mentor staff.

Working with the Extended Learning Director, you will also spend part of the day at the Lower School front desk to connect day and after-school experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Experience leading a school-age program
• Preference for supervising or mentoring staff

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop after-school extended day programs for Preschool-Grade 5.
• Coach and support after-school staff; build a positive, student-centered culture.
• Coordinate enrichment, tutoring, and program operations.
• Provide approximately nine hours per week of Lower School front desk support, linking school-day and after-school experiences.
