Job summary

The Franciscan School in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Part-Time Bridges staff member for our after-school program. You will supervise students, lead activities, monitor behavior, and help with transitions, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

You will assist with homework, supervise transportation on campus where applicable, and maintain positive communications with parents, students and staff while upholding our Safe Environment guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and team‑oriented.
• Background and reference checks required; Safe Environment Training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides a welcoming and safe environment for all students.
• Assists with set-up and clean-up of games, toys, and snacks.
• Monitors student behavior during inside and outside play; reinforces safety.
• Communicates with staff regarding student transport to/from locations on campus.
• Assists students with homework as needed.
