Job summary

This position is a part-time Substitute pathway in partnership with the school district. As an Instructional Provider Sub, you may be assigned to multiple school sites across the district to cover daily needs arising from staff callouts. You must be ready to travel and cover shifts as they become available.

As a CSTC employee, you will be placed at a school site for an initial three-month period. After successful completion of the district hiring process and three months at CSTC, you may

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 48 Semester/60 Quarter College Units or pass NCLB.

Responsibilities

• Instruct TK-12 students individually and in groups.
• Implement classroom management and instructional strategies.
• Prepare and duplicate materials; operate instructional equipment.
• Monitor student progress and attendance records.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and healthful environment.
• Communicate with parents and support involvement.
