Job summary

California Schools Talent Collaborative is hiring an After School Program Substitute to cover TK-12 students across district sites. The role requires readiness to travel to different locations and to cover open shifts as needed, with no guaranteed daily assignment.

As a CSTC employee, you will be placed at a school site for an initial three-month period, after which you can apply through the district’s hiring process and, with successful completion, transition to district employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 48 Semester/60 Quarter College Units or pass NCLB test.

Responsibilities

• Instruct TK-12 students individually and in groups and support classroom activities.
• Implement effective classroom management and instructional strategies.
• Set up daily activities; prepare and duplicate materials; operate instructional equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and maintain attendance records.
• Communicate with parents and attend staff meetings as required.
