Job summary

California Schools Talent Collaborative is seeking a part-time Substitute Instructional Provider to cover TK-12 students across district sites. The role requires readiness to travel to different locations with no guaranteed daily shift, and placement at CSTC sites for an initial three months before applying for district positions.

Under supervision, you will facilitate classroom activities, manage instruction, and maintain attendance and safety records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 48 semester/60 quarter units or pass NCLB test.
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting).
• Provide a clear TB test.

Responsibilities

• Instruct TK-12 students individually and in groups with appropriate pacing.
• Implement effective classroom management and instructional strategies.
• Set up daily activities; prepare and duplicate materials and operate instructional equipment.
• Monitor student progress and maintain attendance records.
• Maintain classroom or learning facility in a clean, organized and healthful manner; store materials daily.
• Supervise students during various school activities and communicate with parents.

Education
