Johnstown YMCA is seeking a part-time After School Site Director/Driver for Namaqua Elementary in Johnstown, CO. The role involves leading staff, delivering safe and engaging programs, and coordinating daily activities for school-age campers.

Eligible candidates are bilingual in Spanish/English and possess CPR/First Aid certification, with prior supervisory experience in childcare. Position offers up to 28 hours weekly and benefits.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or provided.
• Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) encouraged to apply.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage campers and motivate staff for an amazing day camp experience.
• Ensure high-quality programs and plan new activities.
• Train and schedule staff and volunteers as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures and program standards are followed.
• Maintain records and communicate with parents and staff.

Education

Four-year degree

CPR/First Aid certification

60 semester hours / related associate degree + 3 months child care experience

3,185 hours child care supervision experience
