Job summary

YMCA of Central New York is looking for a Site Assistant who will support various child care activities including arts & crafts, music, and sports. This role requires enthusiasm and previous experience with children. The Site Assistant will work Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM and earn $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Substantial experience working with children under 13 years.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program activities including arts & crafts and sports.
• Conduct the program in the absence of the Site Coordinator.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment for children.
