Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Substitute Program Leader to work across various sites within the region. You will guide students, provide homework help, and lead enrichment activities while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include following lesson plans, supervising behavior, and coordinating with school staff to support students' growth and well-being. Availability Mon-Fri 1:00 PM–6:00 PM is preferred, with a full-year commitment expected.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children and the ability to inspire and motivate.
• Proof of graduation from High School or GED is required.
• 48 college semester units or 60 college quarter units required or by passing an Instructional Aide Test.

Responsibilities

• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using provided curriculum.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for students.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and administer disciplinary measures when needed.
• Engage children by following and assisting in lesson plans.
• Ensure student safety by assisting in setup, breakdown and site maintenance.
• Promote positive interactions between volunteers and students per safety guidelines.
• Maintain student safety by taking roll and signing in/out.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Coordinator, teachers, and parents.
• Commit to a full-year program and arrive on-time daily.
• Participate in staff development activities.
