Job summary

Arc Experience is hiring a Part-Time Program Leader to guide students in social-emotional learning, homework help, and enrichment activities after school. You will greet students, lead diverse activities, and create clubs to engage learners across Southern California.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of relevant experience, strong communication with kids and parents, and the ability to pass TB tests and Live Scan background checks. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• TB test, negative result, and Live Scan background check.
• Covid-19 vaccination documentation if required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities: homework help, games, arts & crafts, educational projects.
• Join indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and supervising groups.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to diverse needs.
