Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking a Program Leader in Southern California for after-school programs serving youth from Los Angeles to San Diego. The role is part-time, non-exempt, reporting to the Site Coordinator, with afternoon hours.

You will lead activities, provide homework help, oversee enrichment clubs, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for diverse learners. A TB test and Live Scan are required; English-Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation in diverse communities.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• TB test and Live Scan background check required.
• College credits or pass an academic proficiency exam required.
• English-Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids after school, organizing activities and homework help.
• Lead indoor and outdoor enrichment, clubs (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain safety, monitor behavior, and manage group dynamics.
• Support diverse learners and adapt activities to interests.
