Job summary

Arc Experience is hiring a Part-time Program Leader to support after-school programming in Southern California. You will greet students, lead homework help, crafts, and enrichment activities, and create clubs such as career readiness or dance while ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

Ideal candidates communicate well with kids and parents, have 48+ college units or pass an academic proficiency exam, and are comfortable with TB testing and Live Scan background checks.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Ability to communicate with kids and parents comfortably.
• English-Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of the school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help and enrichment.
• Facilitate indoor and outdoor activities and clubs for varied interests.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and supervising groups.
• Support site staff and adapt activities to meet diverse needs.
