Job summary

Arc Experience seeks a Program Leader at Animo Jackie Robinson Charter High School in Los Angeles, CA to deliver after-school programs that foster social-emotional learning, homework help, and enrichment activities for students.

The role is part-time and reports to the Site Coordinator. You will greet students, lead activities, ensure safety, and develop clubs that engage diverse youth and families.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Effective communication with kids and parents.
• TB test and Live Scan background check.
• English-Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, games, arts and crafts, and projects.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and supervising behavior.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to diverse needs.
