Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking a Program Leader for our after-school program in Los Angeles. The role is part-time, non-exempt, and reports to the Site Coordinator.

You will guide students through social-emotional learning, homework help, enrichment activities, and new adventures daily. The ideal candidate has experience in after-school programs, strong communication skills with kids and parents, and is comfortable working in diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in diverse communities.
• Able to communicate clearly with kids and parents.
• College credits showing 48+ units or pass an academic proficiency exam.
• Must have TB test results and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help and enrichment.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and monitoring behavior.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities.
