Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking a Program Leader to join our after-school program at Animo South LA Charter High School in Los Angeles, CA. The role is part-time, non-exempt, with a schedule Monday to Friday, 2pm-6pm on most days.

You will guide students through SEL activities, homework help, enrichment projects, and outreach to families. TB tests, Live Scan, and a positive, bilingual edge are valued assets.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• Good communicator who can talk to kids and parents comfortably.
• TB test clearance and Live Scan background check; pass a proficiency exam if needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids to the program after school.
• Organize and lead activities, including homework help, games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and supervising student well-being.
