Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking a Program Leader to guide students after school, delivering social-emotional learning, homework help and enrichment activities. You’ll greet students, lead clubs, and support diverse needs, collaborating with site staff to ensure a safe, engaging environment.

The role requires strong communication with kids and parents, plus willingness to support various clubs and routines across partner schools.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Ability to talk to kids and parents comfortably.
• College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units or pass proficiency exam.
• TB test result and Live Scan background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids to the program at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities, including homework help, recreation games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and monitoring student behavior.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
