Job summary

YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is seeking a part-time Before and After School Care Instructor for Mukwonago, WI. The role supports the Y BASE program, coordinating daily activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for school-aged children.

Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, serving as a role model, maintaining records, and upholding YMCA values while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR, First Aid, AED and licensing coursework required or to be obtained.
• Experience in licensed child care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for before/after school activities.
• Participate in daily activities for youth and monitor safety at all times.
• Serve as a positive role model to staff and participants.
• Develop positive relationships with staff, families, and children.
• Maintain participant records and other required documentation.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of learning spaces and classrooms.
