Job summary

The YMCA is seeking an After School Lead to manage a licensed before and after-school program for Mill Creek area children. You will collaborate with the Site Coordinator to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment after school hours.

Responsibilities include leading activities, supervising children, and communicating with families while ensuring safety and program quality. Part-time, in-person role with varied afternoon hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and DCYF qualifications required.
• Completion of twelve college credits in any one hundred-level or above within five years.
• Documentation of all certification and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a licensed before and after-school program, partnering with the Site Coordinator to ensure safety and engagement for children.
• Implement and lead games, activities, and enrichment opportunities while supervising all children.
• Be a positive role model and support family communication, check-in/check-out, and daily operations.
• Assist with program setup, organization, and site facilities, maintaining materials and equipment.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and DCYF/YMCA policies; attend staff meetings and family events.
