Job summary

The YMCA is seeking a Before & After School Assistant at Cedar Wood Elementary in Bothell, WA. This is a part-time, in-person role supervising school-age children and helping with games, homework support, and enrichment in a licensed program.

You will work with the Site Coordinator to create a positive environment where children feel safe, included, and supported. Schedule includes morning and afternoon shifts, with full-day options on non-school days and during breaks; paid training and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; provide DCYF certification and training docs, current TB test, required vaccinations, and portable background check.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a supportive team to provide a high-quality licensed school-age program.
• Supervise all children and activities within the program area.
• Lead daily lessons, games, crafts, enrichment and group activities; ensure safety and inclusion.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized program space and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
