Commonpoint is hiring an After School Group Leader within the Youth Education Services Department to supervise students in a safe, inclusive learning environment and provide academic support. You will facilitate engaging activities and foster youth development in a positive program setting.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with staff, and maintaining structured transitions between activities to support student success and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Kindergarten through Eighth grade students in a safe, inclusive program.
• Provide homework help and encourage positive study habits.
• Plan and facilitate engaging educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
• Model respectful behavior and support youth development.
• Safely supervise transitions between activities and maintain engagement.
