Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a part-time Group Leader to supervise a group of students in a school-based after-school program at the NIA Main Office in Brooklyn, NY 11219. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, with duties including care, supervision, attendance, and activity support.

The role requires available afternoons, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with responsibilities spanning safety, behavior management, and collaboration with program staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of direct experience working with children.
• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in education, youth development, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision to assigned group of students.
• Lead group through daily procedures: arrival, snack, transitions, activities, dismissal.
• Ensure participants are supervised per licensor regulations at all times.
• Take attendance and account for all assigned students during program time.
• Manage dismissal procedures and student sign-out according to site rules.
• Support activity facilitation and assist participants with learning and behavioral needs.
