Job summary

Omega Community Development Corporation seeks a dedicated Group Activity Monitor I to supervise scholars in grades 7-8 during meals, activities, field trips, arrival and dismissal, and to provide behavioral and social‑emotional support within the Scholars of HOPE program. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The position includes assisting with family engagement events and attending required meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school setting or working with children.
• Ability to pass a BCI/FBI Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scholars in grades 7-8 during meal times, activities, field trips, arrival, dismissal and restroom breaks.
• Provide behavioral and social-emotional support to scholars within Scholars of HOPE program.
• Assist with family engagement events throughout the year.
• Attend all Scholars of HOPE required meetings and events.
