Job summary

Omega Community Development Corporation is seeking a dedicated Group Activity Monitor I to oversee scholars in grades 7-8 during meals, activities, field trips and transitions. This part-time role also provides behavioral and social-emotional support within Scholars of H.O.P.E. and supports family engagement events.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 1:30PM to 5:30PM, with a pay rate of $15.00/hr. Successful completion of a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school setting or working with children.
• Ability to pass a BCI/FBI Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scholars in grades 7-8 during meal time, activities, field trips, arrival, dismissal and restroom breaks.
• Provide behavioral and social emotional support to scholars during Scholars of H.O.P.E.
• Assist with family engagement events throughout the year.
• Attend all Scholars of H.O.P.E. required meeting and events.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Group Activity Monitor I to oversee and support scholars in grades 7-8 during various school-related activities. This part-time position involves monitoring scholars during mealtimes, activities, field trips, arrival, dismissal, and restroom breaks, as well as providing behavioral and social-emotional support within the Scholars of H.O.P.E. program. Additionally, the role includes assisting with family engagement events and attending required meetings and events.

This position is Monday through Friday, 1:30PM to 5:30PM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Omega CDC Scholars of H.O.P.E. Group Activity Monitor Contracted Instructor is responsible for the following:

• Monitor scholars in grades 7-8 during meal time, activities, field trips, arrival, dismissal and restroom breaks


• Provide behavioral and social emotional support to scholars during Scholars of H.O.P.E.


• Assist with family engagement events throughout the year


• Attend all Scholars of H.O.P.E. required meeting and events

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Experience in a school setting or working with children


• Ability to pass a BCI/FBI Background Check

COMPENSATION:

$15.00/hr Contracted Position

(Rate of pay dependent on experience and qualifications.)

This position requires successful completion of an employment screening BCI/ FBI background check.
