Job summary

Right At School is hiring for the Fall 2026-2027 school year for an Educator to lead after-school activities in California. The role focuses on engaging, safe, and educational experiences for children in after-school programs, with duties including planning activities and facilitating daily curriculum.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with kids, demonstrates excellent customer service, and can work Monday through Friday, 1:55pm to 6pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
• Ability to lift 25lbs as part of daily activities.
• California requirements: TB test/health screening, LiveScan background check.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates in daily program meetings.
• Prepare and lead activities and curriculum for each day.
• Model positive guidance and classroom management to create a safe, nurturing environment.
• Ensure safety by following protocols and documenting attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
