Right At School is hiring an Educator for the after-school program in California. The role offers an hourly rate of $20-$22, based on education and experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule during the school year 2026/2027.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
• First Aid and CPR— in-person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives.
• Lead by example with a safe and nurturing environment.
• Prioritize safety and joy; monitor environment and document observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
