Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator in California to support Mon–Fri from 1:15 PM to 6 PM (early Wednesdays 12:15 PM–6 PM). The role focuses on organizing enriching activities, guiding children, and ensuring a safe, engaging after-school environment.

Pay ranges $20–$22 per hour, based on education and experience. Candidates should be able to lift 25 lbs, work with children under 13, and be committed to promoting a love of learning and healthy living. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• Live Scan fingerprint background check, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Screening Certificate with Negative TB Test
• 18+ years of age
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, share progress, encourage collaboration and accountability
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives
• Lead by example with safe, nurturing environments and positive guidance
• Prioritize safety and joy; document attendance and incidents as required
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
