Job summary

Right At School in California is seeking an Educator for after-school programs across our partner schools. You will facilitate daily activities, lead engaging curriculum, and model safe, nurturing behavior to help children thrive. Ideal candidates have customer service and teamwork skills, at least 6 months experience with children, 18+ with a high school diploma, and may have AA credits.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Schedule: on-call 1:30pm-6:00pm, 2026/2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Requires 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 in a group setting.
• College credits in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and maintain safety.
• Strong communication with children, parents, staff.

Responsibilities

• Daily program meetings to review goals and progress.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum.
• Lead by example with safe and nurturing classroom management.
• Prioritize safety and joy, document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and school personnel.
