Job summary

Right At School in California is seeking an educator to join our after-school program, Monday–Friday 2pm–6pm, with early start Wednesdays 1pm–6pm. You will plan and facilitate daily activities and curriculum, lead fitness and enrichment sessions, and help create a safe, nurturing environment.

Ideal candidates bring outstanding customer service and teamwork, at least 1 year’ experience with children under 13, the ability to lift 25 lbs, and a drive to inspire a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and lead daily activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Lead daily fitness, activities, and curriculum in a safe, engaging manner.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, modeling positive guidance.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
