Right At School is hiring an Educator in San Jose, CA to lead after-school activities from 2pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday. You’ll create engaging lessons, supervise safety, and help children enjoy learning in a structured environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adaptability, with requirements such as state-specific guidelines, First Aid/CPR, and proof of a high school diploma. Compensation ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.

• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED.
• 18+ years of age.
• First Aid and CPR-in-person.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas and progress.
• Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment while meeting program goals.
• Monitor safety, prevent hazards, document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
