Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to support after-school programs in Alameda Unified School District. The role focuses on delivering structured, engaging activities and fostering a safe, caring environment for children after school hours.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 ECE units, and experience with children. The position is on-call with specific after-school hours in California.

Qualifications

• Customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children.
• Six Early Childhood Education Units.
• CPR (Preferred).
• AUSD Proficiency Test.
• Ability to lift 25 lb.
• Motivation to inspire a love of learning and healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily program meetings to review goals and progress with the team.
• Organize and lead daily activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Model positive guidance and create a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• Monitor safety and joy, document attendance and incidents per procedures.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
