Job summary

Right At School is seeking team-oriented educators for after-school programs. You will lead daily activities, foster a love of learning, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for students.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of child care experience, a high school diploma, and be able to lift 25 lbs. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, with safety trainings and Live Scan requirements in place.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience with children under 13 in a group setting.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in active environments.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Live Scan fingerprint & safety trainings required.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates in daily program meetings; promote collaboration and accountability.
• Prepare and lead activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Model positive guidance and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• Monitor safety and document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
