Job summary

Silver Knights Chess Academy is seeking a part-time Chess Instructor to run after-school lessons for elementary students. You will teach chess fundamentals to groups of 10–20 kids using our curriculum in a school setting.

No master-level play is required; enthusiasm for chess and working with children is essential. A reliable vehicle for commuting and the ability to lift teaching materials are needed, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of chess rules and basic strategy, or willingness to learn.
• Experience or interest working with elementary-age children; classroom experience is a plus.
• Reliable vehicle for transportation.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs of teaching equipment.
• Willingness to learn and use new software tools.
