Job summary

Shining Steps ABA is seeking caring Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our team for after-school hours and weekend opportunities. The role focuses on 1:1ABA therapy in home, school, clinic, and community settings, following plans created by a BCBA.

Training and certification support are provided. Ideal candidates will work well with children, communicate clearly, and remain flexible for afternoon/evening schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance.
• Positive, patient, and professional attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet employment requirements.
• Availability during afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents.
• Work in home, school, clinic, and community settings.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data during therapy sessions.
• Support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
