Job summary

Serengeti Care is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to provide nursing support and clinical guidance after hours, weekends, and during staff absences. This role ensures continuity of care in alignment with company standards and regulations.

The RN will perform triage and nursing assessment by phone or in person, coordinate with providers, families, and caregivers, and document care accurately while escalating urgent issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification, if required for assigned duties.
• Ability to perform triage and nursing assessment with sound clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support and clinical guidance after hours, on weekends, and during staff absences.
• Perform nursing triage and assessment by phone and/or in person as applicable.
• Coordinate care with providers, caregivers, and family members; document accurately.
• Escalate urgent concerns per policy and maintain regulatory compliance.
