Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, AR seeks a compassionate Triage Registered Nurse to join after-hours support, coordinating care from home. The role involves calling patients, scheduling nurse visits, and dispatching on-call staff to ensure timely hospice interventions.

The ideal candidate is an RN with hospice experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow care plans while coordinating with physicians and facility staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
• Experience in triage and after-hours nursing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer hospice calls during nights, weekends, holidays and emergencies.
• Schedule nurse visits and manage emergency patient admissions.
• Talk with patients and caregivers to assess needs by phone.
• Communicate with doctors for patient updates and orders.
• Give instructions per the patient’s care plan and coordinate after-hours needs.
