Job summary

Henninger Legacy Homes is seeking an After-Hours Facility Support Specialist to provide after-hours front desk coverage, resident support, and facility monitoring. This role serves as the primary on-site contact during evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and other non-business hours, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-managed residential community.

You will check in residents/visitors, respond to emergencies, document incidents, and coordinate with on-call staff while upholding privacy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant education or experience in human services, housing, hospitality, security, residential services, front desk operations, shelters, or related field/environment preferred.
• Experience working with individuals who have experienced homelessness or housing instability preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Experience working in permanent supportive housing or other 24-hour residential settings preferred.
• Experience working front desk, residential access, or guest services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional front desk coverage during assigned after-hours shifts by greeting residents, guests, visitors, vendors, and service providers in a welcoming and professional manner, maintaining a welcoming environment that respects residents' dignity and independence.
• Check in residents and verify authorization; maintain accurate check-in records and ensure policies are followed.
• Address unauthorized access concerns and route after-hours calls; assist residents with after-hours needs and connect them with on-call staff when necessary.
• Maintain professional boundaries and protect confidentiality.
• Monitor building access and safety; conduct walkthroughs and report hazards or incidents; respond to alarms and contact on-call staff as needed.
• Maintain shift logs and incident reports; support emergency procedures and communication across team.
